Connection

We are guided by the search for living happiness. What spaces do you prefer to stay in? And how can we offer a beautiful view of the outdoors or another beautiful space in the home? In this project, connection is the key word, Connection between inside and outside. And between living, living and enjoying.

Natural area and design reinforce each other

What was special about this project was that there were no fixed frameworks. We first examined how the estate - in the middle of a vast nature reserve - could best be used. Privacy for the residents and optimal use of the outdoor space were central to this. The result? A subdued character at the front, but openness at the rear, where inside and outside flow into each other. Each space offers a different view of the beautifully landscaped garden.

Materials in harmony

What immediately stands out about this spacious villa is its friendly character. This is partly due to the use of materials. Warm wood, white stucco and a modern thatched roof, combined with large windows and charming broken stone. All elements together form a harmonious whole.

A staircase? A sculpture

An eye-catcher: the white steel staircase. Because it lies exactly in the curve of the villa - connecting the three living floors - it seems to act as a hinge. This work of art should be seen! The porch is therefore made transparent with wooden slats, so that the staircase can be seen from different angles. The steel staircase literally and figuratively feels warm because of the leather covering of the steps.

Joining forces for optimal results

Inside and outside as one. That is the end result of the integral collaboration with interior designer Remy Meijers and Van Dinther Bouwbedrijf. The sleekly designed pool and terrace form one line with the house. And when the walls are completely slid open, the outdoor kitchen blends organically into the outdoor space.

Red carpet in the landscape

Like a runner laid out on the property, a corten steel staircase leads to the basement, where a spacious gym and generous wine room are located. The quarry stone chimney is an eye-catcher both inside and out. The result? Depth, unity and coherence between interior and exterior.
